The Collaborative Centre for Gender and Development (CCGD) is a membership Non Governmental Organization which was started in Kenya in 1995 and registered in 1996. CCGD’s activities are community, national and regional (East and Central Africa) based.
The CCGD membership consists of men and women from multi disciplinary backgrounds, equipped with gender sensitization, analysis, programming and advocacy skills. They are drawn from government ministries, universities, private sector and NGOs. The members provide services in their diverse areas of expertise, when called upon to do so.
